Fleet Maintenance

Alert Ambulance Service maintains a full time staff of mechanics who are experts at ambulance and wheelchair coach maintenance.

Our facilities are large enough to accommodate 5 to six vehicles at a time, three of which can be on lifts.

More than 90 percent of required maintenance and repairs are done on site by our staff.

Every vehicle takes part in a rigorous preventive maintenance schedule , and daily fluid and safety checks. We even operate a mobile Fleet Maintenance Truck which can provide roadside assistance repairs to any vehicle which might break down on the road.

Our fleet maintenance department utilizes a computerized maintenance database through the use of a system called Fleet Vision. This software provides for PM schedules, parts inventory, purchase and work order tracking, reporting, and more.
